Ages ago, as an inexpensive alternative to a second Wacom, I tried an inexpensive tablet/stylus that had barely useful hovering and found it a problem. Hovering is particularly important for selections and such. (No demo mode in the Standard version, just the Studio one). Their forums have no posts about it and I'm of the mind that I wouldn't rule out that it "technically" runs on gen 1 hardware but not to many folks' satisfaction, so while I hadn't ruled out contacting them my first move was to ask here for any real world feedback.īut now having learned that it can't, with any iPad, utilize the hover function that Wacoms and other tablets use (due to limitations of the iPad) I'm leaning towards not dropping the $30 just yet.
